Hey, y’all!!! My name is Lindsey and this is my little food blog! I started blogging a couple of years ago because I love to cook, love to share my recipes and got a lot of prodding from family and friends to share on a larger platform than just facebook 🙂  After getting my feet wet with a short test run and no clear path, I focused in with a new direction and Mostly Whole Foodie was born! Two years ago, I was overwheight and extremely unhappy with who I was. Something had to change. So I signed up for a half marathon, did my first 24 Day Challenge with Advocare and haven’t looked back! As of September , 2016, I’m down 40 lbs, workout regularly and eat clean and love my life (and myself!!)! So my goal with this blog is to share with all of you the healthy things (and sometimes not so healthy things) that I make and eat. We still gotta live! So I enjoy finding healthy ways to eat our favorite things.

I am not a huge talker. I  generally only speak when I feel that I have something worthwhile to say. That is why my posts will be short, sweet and to the point.  You won’t have to scroll for days to get to my recipes, after all we are here for the food, right?! I am here to share what has helped me and can hopefully help you. I like to teach so I will include knowledgeable tidbits from time to time. I also think that I am kind of funny and enjoy  sarcasm. To take me as you will… Maybe with a grain of Himalayan sea salt!
